WK Internal Medicine & Pediatric Specialists is a primary care clinic that offers a variety of services from physicians specially trained to treat everyone, from newborns to senior citizens. We emphasize prevention but are available to help whether you have an illness or need a routine exam, no matter what your age. Your health is our priority.

Infants and Children

• Routine childhood immunizations
• Well baby checkup
• Illnesses, including colds, earaches, flu, chickenpox, measles and others
• Lead screening

• Audiometric screening (hearing screenings)
• Simple childhood injuries, bumps, bruises, cuts and scrapes
• Breathing treatments - asthma and minor respiratory problems
• Removal of small foreign objects from nose or ears

Adults

• Wellness and physical exams
• General medical problems – treatment for high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid problems, ulcers, anemia, allergies, seizure disorder, headaches, arthritis, asthma and urinary infections

Reach Out and Read

Willis Knighton Health has teamed up with Reach Out and Read, a national program that works with pediatric healthcare providers to share and promote the lifelong benefits of families reading aloud to their children.  Expanding language acquisition, increasing listening skills, and building long lasting familial bonds are just a few of the benefits of this program.  Our providers educate the parents on the benefits of reading out loud to their children and hand out age appropriate books during the well child visit for the families to keep and to use.

Reach Out and Read is the only national literacy program endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and is available at our clinic.
